What Is the Pellevé System?
This medical treatment was approved by the FDA in 2009 and is one of the most revolutionary anti-aging treatment methods to hit the aesthetic market in recent years. It is non-invasive, yet remarkably effective, and is beneficial for all areas of the face and neck.

How Long Does Treatment Take?
This simple and affordable treatment usually only last about 45 minutes to an hour. The treatment time is considerably shorter than most other optional treatments since there are no incisions or anesthesia involved, as these can often be time-consuming.
In addition, because there is no pain, swelling, burning, anesthesia, or injections involved, there is minimal downtime. This means the client can return to their work or previous activities directly following treatment, as well as the ability to apply facial make-up right away.
How Does the System Work?
Method
A special hand-held instrument is utilized to deliver a radio frequency pulse to the deepest layer of your skin, resulting in a warming sensation to the client, much akin to a deep-heated massage. However, this is not to the degree of a burning sensation and is not painful.
The transformation begins when this radio frequency pulse heats up the deepest layers of skin to approximately 145-150 degrees (F). The heat causes the collagen to contract, initiating the formation of new collagen and elastin, instantaneously creating a smoother appearance of the upper dermis of the skin. This is repeated for all areas of concern on the face and neck.
Results
Smoother, tighter skin, with a reduction in fine lines and wrinkles can be seen instantaneously. How Does It Differ From Other Aesthetic Treatments?
Laser Treatments
Unlike conventional CO2 and Fraxel Repair laser treatments, this treatment method requires no anesthesia because there is no pain or swelling involved. It also leaves no risk of scarring, as it does no damage to the top layer of skin. In addition the CO2 and Fraxel Repair laser treatments require several weeks of downtime for healing.
The CO2 and Fraxel Repair lasers actually burn away the epidermis and dermis, an ablative technique that induces a wound requiring time to heal. Pellevé can be just as beneficial for removing fine lines and wrinkles, however, the CO2 & Fraxel Repair lasers are the preferred method for improving both textural and photodamage coloration.
Injectable Fillers
There are many different types and brands of injectable fillers which are FDA approved that are beneficial for filling in wrinkles and plumping up the skin, while also encouraging collagen production. Some of the more popular products include Juvéderm products, Belotero Balance, Restylane products, Radiesse, and Sculptra Aesthetic. Their results can vary, with some lasting up to two years or longer. Some are made up of substances which are naturally found in our bodies, while others are synthetic substances that are bio-degradable in our bodies.
